My area of research examines the space between the human & the nonhuman: how technology can be used to flip the function of nature from serving as a resource into a new era of bio-inspired innovation.

Engineering Bio & Design

My work aims to promote a world where biology informs technology & technology endorses biology through the means of art & design.

My goal is to promote a mutually beneficial relationship between ourselves and nature through the deconstruction of hierarchical boundaries. I believe this transformation of thought cannot occur on its own. It needs a mechanism of transportation, an intersection between the self and nature, between art and science. This need is the root of my exploration into an area known as BioDesign.
